Jonah Sturdy is the WINNER of the Double 8 Showdown! Not only that, but he was also today’s P1 qualifier. But wait… there’s more! Jonah is also unofficially the 2026 NW Drift Series points champion 🏆

Congratulations to Jonah for having such a rock-solid season of drifting, and we thank him for putting on such a great show for the crowd.

Here’s to next season! 🥂

Who do you think took with win??

After an intense series of battles, @patrickheald and @carlton_drifts went head-to-head on the infamous 5/8 bank here at Evergreen Speedway!

Next up we’ve got the full Top 32 competition for the Double 8 Showdown, with the Team Tandem following and closing out the night.

Jonah Sturdy is ON FIRE 🔥 He just qualified P1 in the Double 8 Showdown, making this his second DrifftCon in a row as P1 qualifier! His right foot is committed to staying planted to the floor in his LS E36 and we can’t wait to see him tackle competition the rest of the day.

Our 14th and final driver! Leon Ban will be competing in his E36 coupe at the Warfare on the 5/8 competition at Afterdark.

Leon @leonban does have 5/8 experience from past events but it's been a few years since he's actively participated in a comp on the big bank. Both his car and his driving ability have come a long way since then so we can't wait to see how he does at the event tomorrow!

On October 3, 14 drivers will qualify into a Top 8 bracket and battle each other for a first place prize of $4000 in the Warfare on the 5/8 Presented by @hondaofseattle @toyotaofseattle! Get Early Access tickets while they're still available and watch these drivers qualify before the main event. Tickets available using the link in our bio.
