Braydon first started drifting in early 2012 and his current car is actually the first 240sx he learned to tandem with. The biggest difference is that today the car is nothing like it used to be. It originally had a welded diff, APEXi coilovers and a stock KA24E engine. Since then he has fully built the car and continues to push his limits as a driver while trying to find out what the car is capable of.
Over the years, the car has had 4 motors. Initially a Nissan KA24E, 2 Lexus 1UZFE’s and finally a Toyota 2JZ-GTE VVTi engine which is what is currently installed. In 2015 the car underwent a very intense rebuild with the help of Galen Callahan at Autoderiva. It went from a 240sx with mostly bolt on parts and 190WHP to a monstrous 700WHP dedicated track car with thought out modifications to maximize its potential.
Braydon still feels as if he hasn’t scratched the surface of what the car is capable of and hopes that the 2016 season will give him the necessary seat time to improve his abilities as a driver.
