Tyler Grimsley is an up and coming driver based out of Port Angeles, WA. He will be competing this season in the Evergreen Drift ProAm championship in his highly modified 1989 Nissan 240sx. Tyler’s driving style is a reflection of his personality: consistent, motivated, and calculated.
After competing in the Evergreen Drift Grassroots Championship in 2010 and various other events, Autosport Dynamics (ASD) noticed Tyler’s exceptional driving. He was selected as an ASD Mob Prospect for 2011, and again as a full member in 2012. This was something that only a select few drivers in the US were chosen for.
Though the ASD program is no longer active, Tyler has maintained his strong relationship with ASD. In 2015 he took the entire season off to revamp the car and this year he will be competing for a top spot in the EVD ProAm championship in hopes of receiving his Formula Drift Pro2 license.
