IM_PresentedAwards will be determined similarly to other DriftCon events in the past. Some awards are fully judged while others are determined by registered car show competitors. Awards are structured so that competitors are only allowed to win one award. If a competitor wins an award, they will not be able to win a lower category. Every year we hire two dedicated judges that we respect within the PNW car show community that will be handling all of the make specific and Best of Show awards. Judges and criteria will be announced closer to the event.

The Double 8 Showdown returns to DriftCon Afterdark. Check out the Drift Showcase car show in the morning and the 32 drivers competing in the afternoon.

TEAM TANDEM SHOWOFF / DC DRIFT GAMES

Requested by multiple drifters, Team Tandem Showoff and DC Drift Games are all about having a fun way to end the season in the NW. Team Tandem Showoff is a “Team Exhibition” style competition and bracketed final 8. A total of 8 teams of 3-5 will stage up for a cageless layout and will proceed to run AS TEAMS ONLY (no solo driving) in an open drift fashion. Note: There is no cash prize for this portion of the event – just for fun!

Drift Games is a pair of mini-competitions (Big Entry Contest / 360 Drift Challenge) strictly for bragging rights and small prizes from sponsors.

EVENT RULES

  1. DriftCon Afterdark will happen rain or shine.
  2. The Trackside Night Car Show is based on approval only. If your car is not selected for the show you will be notified via email and moved to VIP parking.
  3. All registrations are final. No refunds will be given.
  4. Registrations are not transferable to another person or vehicle.
  5. Cars in the Trackside Night Car Show must remain parked until after the awards have been presented (around 8:00pm).
  6. Only registered motor vehicles will be allowed to compete in the car show.
  7. Only registered vendors or sponsors are able to advertise at DriftCon. You will be asked to leave if you attempt to market your business without pre-approval.
  8. These rules and new rules can be modified at any time.
